PM Suga tried to shake hands with Thomas Bach, the chairman of IOC, who came to Japan to meet PM.
This behaviour of his looked all the more strange because both of them were wearing elaborate masks.
Since I came to Japan from California, I have never been more aghast.
And what I wonder about his trying is whether he simply forgot to care about the social-distancing,
or he intentionally did it to demonstrate that Japan was, in the respect of corona virus, so safe
that they could shake hands without any risk. There is little need to say that now Japan is far from safe,
and PM is the last man that is unaware of it.
At least if I may judge by myself, such characteristics of his, which, for my lack of vocabulary,
I cannot help calling "audacity", is expected to endanger Japan and Japanese people.
